Theodore May reports on the Middle East for GlobalPost. He worked as a political reporter for the Daily Star in Beirut, Lebanon, in 2006, reporting on south Lebanon in the aftermath of the war with Israel. He worked as a business reporter in Cairo in 2008 and 2009 for the Daily News Egypt, which publishes with the International Herald Tribune. May reported for USA Today from Afghanistan and from Gaza during the January 2009 conflict with Israel. He has also worked as a freelance assistant producer for ABC News. A native New Yorker, he graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont with a degree in history.
